Doe Ridge Pottery is a locally owned and operated pottery studio that displays the work of 15 local potters in its gallery. Visitors can see pottery made in the studio. Pottery classes are offered to all ability levels. Doe Ridge produces and sells a wide variety of functional stoneware pottery.

The Ashe County Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit voluntary membership association that serves as the unified voice for nearly 500 member businesses, individuals, and non-profits in and around the High Country. The Chamber also operates the Ashe County Visitor Center in downtown West Jefferson, welcoming all who explore the coolest corner of North Carolina.
